Troubling Times

So you everything that’s going on in the South and everyone's writing about it, so I'm only going to say two things about it.

One, due to my commitment the California Air National Guard I'll probably end up going to help out/keep peace around the end of the month, its not for sure, but I'm getting on the list to go, I’ve never deployed before, so I don’t know what to expect, so it’ll be interesting.

Secondly, I did something yesterday that I've never done before, and never want to do again. But with what I hear things are just going to be getting worse. So on to what I did, I paid over $3 a gallon for gas, which is absolutely crazy, and I hear that we might be seeing prices go as high as $5 a gallon before this whole thing is over. It’s weird what happens when a hurricane wipes out the major shipping lines and pumps for oil in our country.

fortunately for you, you drive a car with a very small engine that gets terrific gas mileage...

remember that double d was born in the 80's before you start claiming that 1972 wasn't that long ago.

Under a buck? UGH! The least I've ever paid for gas was 1.01/gallon. Then again if I had gotten my license at 16 instead of 20 I would have paid under a buck...
